The Clerk’s office is the custodian of the municipal seal; records and maintains custody of all minutes, bonds, contracts; archives all records and documents; accepts applications for licenses and registrations; issues search certificates; and administrative assistant to the governing body.
The Clerk is required to manage, store and preserve all public documents in accordance with NJ State law and must supply copies of such documents upon request in compliance with the Open Public Records Act (OPRA). The Clerk is the first contact to assist with any questions about the Township or direction to the appropriate Township Official or Department. In order to obtain copies of any public records you must submit an OPRA Request Form via USPS mail, fax or email mbrown@woodlandtownship.org
As Local Election Administrator
Residents of Woodland Township 18 years of age and older are eligible to vote in any local, County, State and Federal elections. Elections are overseen by the Burlington County Board of Elections. Residents may register to vote by clicking Register Forms are also available in the Clerk's Office in the Municipal Building.
Mail in ballots must be deposited in a secure ballot drop box no later than 8:00 pm on Election Day. The closest ballot drop boxes to Woodland Township are located at the Tabernacle Municipal Bldg., 163 Carranza Rd or Pemberton Community Library, 16 Broadway Street. Additionally, ballots can be hand delivered to the Board of Elections, 50 Rancocas Rd., Mt. Holly, 1st Floor no later than 8:00 pm on Election Day. Mail in ballots cannot be returned to a polling location.
Early voting at the polls starts 10/30/22 10-6:00 pm and then 11/1-11/5 from 10-8:00 pm. The closest early voter polls to Woodland Township are located at Medford Township Building, 49 Union St., Medford or at the Lenape Administration Office, 93 Willow Grove Street, Shamong.
