Woodland Township is located in the southern portion of Burlington County, approximately 1 hour from Philadelphia, 2 hours from New York City and 45 minutes to Atlantic City. It is home to the Pinelands Preservation area and has many miles of pristine forest, numerous lakes & streams and various wildlife. Woodland Township is known for its blueberries and cranberries, as well as the very popular Chatsworth Cranberry Festival, held the 3rd weekend in October. Woodland Township is also known for the historic train The Blue Comet, traveling from New York City to Atlantic City.
Woodland Township encompasses the Village of Chatsworth. The township is 95 sq miles and has a population of 2063.
